Revolutionary Road
So this is one of the last films I had to watch from this year’s Oscar season. Jesus! This was a horror movie. Okay, well not exactly, but the subject may be my greatest fear – being “pacified” into suburban life. Both Leo and Kate had great performances, the tension between the two is palable, and their deep seeded resentment towards not only each other, but their environment seems so genuine. Sam Mendes is a genius. If you haven’t seen this one, get into it.

Sheppard Fairey
So this is the image that started it all for me.
I was a recent grad when I saw this poster, and instantly wanted to know who came up with it. I’m a huge fan of that propaganda style, and naturally gravitated towards Sheppard’s work. Since then he’s gone onto HUGE success most recently with the Obama print. I heard a rumor that he actually had the piece from the recent election in the smithsonian?
He’s a fantastic artist, and thought it would be fitting that my first post on design would’ve been about him. OBEY

I’m all over this place. Been there twice and have yet to be dissappointed. An “asian tapas” styled menu, highly recommend the spicy crispy shrimps with jalapeno and garlic, and the lamb and duck prosciutto dumplings. Outstanding grub.

It Begins…
So, I’ve been roped into the world of blogging… Fraser, this is all your fault.
Since I’m still in the development of my website, I figured this is as good a place as any to get things out there.
